it's birthday city!

just got in from a long day on the road...

in sumter, SC, tonight. all the hotels on 95 were full, so we hopped over to some non-interstate roads... found plenty of space in this little city.

and since i'm lacking REAL food at this hour (no taco bells within highway sight since boy missed the one at the 5 mile mark), i bought some fritos, salsa, and kraft singles (hope they're soy-free)... melted the salsa and singles in the microwave... now dipping chips in them. it tastes okay... looks ... well. nevermind.

and i discovered that i missed dahliablue's birthday. eeeeep

home again, home again, jiggidy jig

mmm, cocoa. hot cocoa. and a COLD apartment. we left the AC on while we were gone. oops. the apartment was 55 degrees, which seemed WARM when walking in (20F out, i wish we had SNOW). i put the heat on, but it doesn't warm the bedrooms well. i think i'm gonna go snuggle with the boy and godzilla (sci fi chan rocks).
