my new thermos rocks
Nov. 22nd, 2001 12:07 amthe hot cocoa i made around 5pm is still steaming hot. :)
i'm in a hotel in mount laurel, NJ. it's okay, but there's an overwhelming smell of fabric softener or carpet cleaner... and i requested that no fragranced cleaning products be used. :( most places are pretty good about that request. the smell isn't on the sheets, so i don't know what it is. i hope i can sleep without another asthma attack.
traffic on I-95 was horrendous, so i skipped over and took US 40. that was much nicer and probably saved me a lot of time. it was a decent drive and we laughed at the ever-growing number of adult video stores along the way.
we'll be going over to my in-laws' tomorrow. MiL is working, but we'll go out for dinner. i hope it's a place which will accomodate my allergies. most of the restaurants they choose are okay, but this one is a buffet place... i'm worried. i may be starving for dinner. i hate that. people stare at the one person who doesn't eat.
boy just spent an hour watching Tom and Jerry... he giggled like mad the whole time. he's so cute. :)
dammit. my eyes are swelling up and my face is getting flushed.
i wish places didn't use so many toxic chemicals. fragrances are especially unnecessary. it would be nice if i didn't react to so much, but that wouldn't make these chemicals any less toxic.
gah. i might go sleep in the car.
