off for a few days...

rootofnewti'm off to charlottesville tomorrow with some friends. we'll stay friday and saturday nights. i think a wine festival is planned. i'm not sure what else my friends will plan, but i'm going to try to cajole a couple into hitting the local goth club saturday night. i have some friends down there i miss.
boy is staying here. he's going to the tool/fantomas concert tomorrow with an old roomie of ours. they'll have fun. he'll crash at her place, so he won't be alone. i'm not sure what he'll do saturday night, but i'm sure he'll find something to do. he could use some alone-time to work on music.
i feel bad skipping out on him, but i need to get out of the city. i'd be happier if he were with me, but i know how much he loves tool and fantomas. since i don't do stadium shows, we wouldn't be together that night, anyway.
i'm kind of high maintenance, though, so this is probably for the better. he'll get some *real* private time. we both need that every once in awhile.
i had my b12 lab this morning. the results will be in tomorrow, but i probably won't know til my doctor's appointment next week. we'll see how that goes.
so it goes. i had to get up at some horrible hour this morning. i'm pretty sure it was still dark out. so i'm going to go to bed.
i can't believe i'm going to bed before ian gets offshift and wendi takes her first snack break.
i must be getting soft. ;)
and my brother just called. onna phone before bed.
