Yo, Chicago people. Do the Chicago tolls take EZ Pass (rather, if you know the name of the toll system, I can look it up)? Tom will be driving from O'Hare down to get to I-57S.

ETA: Yes. Awesome. I-Pass takes EZ Pass. I'll give Tom our transponder.

*nods* Yep. Our I-Pass thing came in handy when taking the PA. turnpike and other toll roads between here and VA.

I wish I'd remembered to order the suction cup doohickey for the transponder. Ours is plastic velcro stuff. He can hold it up in the right spot, though.

In my work vehicle I have both a SunPass (western FL) and an EZPass. The SunPass has the suction cups and is continually falling down. I gave up on the EZPass and it rests on the dash, haven't had an issue with sensors not reading the EZPass yet.

Where on the dash do you place it?

My MiL's ezpass holder is the suction type and it's never fallen. We have the never-gonna-fall-impossible to remove from the glass plastic "velcro" on ours.

I'm kinda thinking maybe he should just pay cash. If he forgets my ezpass in the rental. . . oy.

Yeah, that is a severe concern.

As for placement, it's in the driver's side corner, with half of the super velcro attachment on the back, it was a hand-me-down from another driver who doesn't take care of equipment.
