Nov. 27th, 2009 11:11 amTrying to decide what to do today. The train beckons, but it's chilly again, which makes toddler-wearing difficult. He won't go in the wrap and the Ergo won't fit over our bulky winter coats. I could wear him on my front, but he's getting taller and front carries *kill* my hips, plus it might rain, so I'd be stepping in deep puddles and tripping over curbs. Since he's still so wee, I'm contemplating getting a mei tai with some extra length in the straps.
We didn't bring the Deuter because it's not terribly city friendly. Well, it's city friendly, it's not shop friendly.
I'm also contemplating a new stroller. Something easily collapsible, with a higher torso height than the graco metrolite we have. And something easier to handle than the uber-cheap cosco umbrella stroller which lives here at grandma's house. Sure, he *could* just walk, but our jaunts are frequently miles long and that's not quite fair to a wee tyke.
The Garden State Discovery Museum and the Please Touch Museum are viable options. I suppose the Zoo is, too. Those all require driving, but so does the train. We'd drive to Cinnaminson and then chill out on the River Line.
