Indian night!
Sep. 5th, 2009 07:36 pmTonight's dinner:
broccoli ka saag (from Madhur Jaffrey's World Vegetarian)
tala panir (fried paneer, same cookbook)
cabbage aloo (I can't remember what cabbage is called, my recipe
cucumber raita
uttapam (we're mopping up the bit of juice created by condensation from the formerly dry curry--it was done first and sat covered near the stove)
Yum. I'm definitely frying paneer again. This is yummy.

Date: 2009-09-06 03:42 pm (UTC)I tried some paneer tika masala from Trader Joe's a couple of weeks ago assuming that paneer was tofu but when I ate it I noticed that it had a slightly different texture than I'm used to getting from tofu. I totally loved though and since you mentioned it, I thought I'd ask. :)
