This is the week of packing. I need to pull out (or have Tom drag up) the camping gear and go through each box/bag (kitchen, tent bag, first aid, tool/battery, sleeping bags, camp chairs) and assemble the sleeping gear (pump, air mattress, battery lanterns), check out the grill, assemble the food bin, and pull together a bag of toiletries, meds, and my clothes & Ronan's. I need a new toy stash (already bought piecemeal), and existing toy assortment.

I need to clean out the car, vac and wash, take it in for an oil change (oooh, have coupon for Merchant, may even have stamina to put up with their slooooooow service), have the cig lighter/jack replaced/fixed, and make Ford install rear tethers. I won't make them repay me for the tether kit they made me buy, even though headquarters said they should have comped it and installed it free of charge. (Code R7C. Remember this.) Maybe I'll make them put in a second one. (And by make, I mean "graciously request and, if necessary, remind them of the correct billing code to get Detroit to cover it.")

I'll try cleaning the headlight lenses while I'm in Indiana. Or maybe see if a garage out there will charge less than Ford wants to charge out here.

I've done most of the laundry, though I need to put stuff away and keep playing catch up.

Need to repack the beach bag. I should empty it and repair it first. Hello, duct tape.

I have no idea where I'll find time to do all this. Chasing Ronan takes all of my energy and I'm pretty much dead by 3:30 or 4pm. His growth spurt nursing seems to have abated, however, so maybe I can actually get some sleep this week.

Must make the packing lists. And make Tom's shopping list for UIUC, so that he doesn't have to think about what to buy in the supermarket when his blood sugar is low.

I could send Tom a Purdue Boilermakers t-shirt to wear to his UIUC visit. ;-)

I think we can help with those lenses. We have a garage that will also get the door code for you. Dad went to school with them.
