Goodbye, clutter

God, sometimes I love the internet.
I posted our old patio furniture to craigslist and freecycle. I had a flurry of replies within 15 minutes. Someone will surely take it off my hands tomorrow. If not, then Sunday.
I assembled the new table tonight and we moved the chairs onto the deck. Yay!
I need to assemble the new compost bins and find a level spot for them. Knock down some forsythia and nandina, cut a downspout, buy some cinderblocks, and elevate the rainbarrel.
Finally need to get Ronan's garden built. It's been laid out, but after the rain, the grass grew 6". I need to make sure the edges are spaded/hoed before I pull out the markers and twine so that Tom can mow.
Must sand, assemble, and coat (with polycrylic toxic fumes of doom) Ronan's new table/chairs, which I stained over the last week, in between rainshowers. It's the Svala set from Ikea, with a light green stain. Next time, I'll just freakin' buy the already finished stuff. Or spraypaint. Oh, well, the stain job isn't perfect, but it doesn't have to be perfect, right? That's love, all right. ;) Slaving away in the pollen and sun-glare to make a table for my kiddo. Ooof.
Tomorrow's plans: farmer's market, perhaps watching a bit of the parade (yay, bagpipes), then rushing Tom to his voice lesson before freecyclers show up. Must also take a load of cardboard and brown paper to the recycling center. And then see what I can knock out on the to-do list. I bet I can assemble the bins while Ronan plays with his new sand/water table. I can certainly kill some forsythia and nandina in a couple minutes, thanks to my handy-dandy loppers. Or I could just freecycle those, too.
Ooooh . . .
