I have a new nephew!

He has a penchant for eviscerating reindeer, so I know he'll fit in just fine.

The shelter claimed lab mix, which I assume means pit mix. ;) I think Brandon said he was an owner surrender, along with a foster sibling that has already been adopted out.

Brandon's area has been hit very hard by the housing crisis. I imagine that might be the reason for the surrender. Jax is super friendly, well socialized, house trained, etc. The only thing he does is pull at the leash, so I recommended Brandon pick up a Gentle Leader.

I haven't asked if the dog's been in the pool yet. ;)

I thought he looked like there's some pit bull in him. I've never met a mean pit bull, they're sweet.
