Date: 2008-12-01 04:53 pm (UTC)Methyl salicylate is pretty distinctive and it's neat how it reminds us of all manner of potent flavors. It's what gives wintergreen its distinctive odor.
Teaberry gum is probably the closest, I imagine. Or a really good, potent birch beer.
