Oh, god.
A bird just flew into my front door. I thought it was a strangely clean female goldfinch. I turned it over and it was a cedar waxwing. With a broken neck.
*cries*
I moved it under a bush, just in case it wasn't really dead.
If it's still there in a few hours, we'll move it over the back fence, where Jerry can't desecrate the corpse.
