Long day and it's not yet sundown.

rootofnewtGot in late last night, but we'd made good time. We just didn't leave C'ville til 8pm. I think we're getting too old for trips like that.
Slept in today--even Ronan slept in til 9am! I didn't actually sleep in, but 8:30 is better than 7:30.
Today was spent at Ikea and Whole Foods. We picked up a toy box for Ronan and replaced some household items (mouse-chewn wooden utensils, extra measuring spoons, a couple wetbags). The mouse-chewn utensils will become dye tools. The new ones will need a few oily rubdowns before they're suitable, but that's fine.
WFM was a madhouse. I mean, 3:30-5pm on a Saturday was nuts of me, but I've not eaten all day and needed safe-for-me food. I got a horrid runaround from three departments (including customer service) over where to find flavored syrups for coffee and I finally gave up and bought ice cream topping caramel, which was awesome in my very tardy latté.

explodingcat are down there, too. Ronan and I are up here, where he has just nursed and is now napping. Maybe I'll nap, too.
