Tonight, I have fed the baby numerous times. That's normal. I've also put away three more bags of pantry items. And I switched the hinges on the fridge so that it opens from the other side. (We moved the fridge to the opposite wall when the new cabinets were put in by my dad.)

The fridge was a simple task, but no less onerous for the simplicity.

Anyhow, I have earned my dinner. Meatloaf (smothered with pineapple chipotle bbq sauce, stuck under toaster oven broiler) and cannelini. I'd love some more veggies, but I'm tired.

Also, I'm not sure I'll suggest boy add a scotch bonnet pepper to the meatloaf again. The heat overwhelms the flavor.

Tom is holding the urchin. After contorting myself on the floor with the socket wrench and fridge door, I'm not touching the babe til I've had a shower. Our kitchen floor is scary.

[livejournal.com profile] explodingcat makes it. Pretty sure it's just the betty crocker cookbook recipe, using EnerG bread crumbs (or cream of rice/buckwheat). We put A1 on top instead of catsup. And this one had a minced pepper in it (scotch bonnet/habanero).

It might have extra onions, too.

Here (http://www.bettycrocker.com/Recipes/Recipe.aspx?recipeId=34478) is the recipe. We use Angostura worcestershire and sub 1/2 cup GF crumbs for the bread. I've toasted and ground/torn tapioca bread before, though.

Visitors?

Are you up for visitors? Thinking week after next, like the first week in October. Just a couple days. Planned to do the fridge hinge thing, but I guess you beat us to it. Great job, Sweetie. Do you have your pulls on yet? Next week doctor appointments, then we are outta' here, but couldn't go anywhere without seeing our grandson again.

You might compell us to Ronan/Jerry-sit for an evening. :-)

Love, Mom

We always love to see you. We had been thinking of going up to NJ for a week, but I don't know if I feel like packing/roadtripping. Plus, Tom just started allergy shots.

We haven't put the pulls on yet. I have the template, though. We'll probably do that this weekend. I've almost got everything put away--going very slowly so that I do it properly.

Did you forget your [livejournal.com profile] scottiemom login?

Love you!

Of course. Sent and got it again. I think they change it on me. . . :-)
Right now I'm too lazy to look it up. Will do that once we hit the road and will change it to something I can remember.

Love, Mom

congratulations!!!

Holy cats am I out of the loop. Baby? Baby? BABY!!!!!!!

Congratulations and all the best and happy autumn all rolled into one. I can't believe the Scully's didn't tell me about this blessed event. (Or maybe they did and the fibro-fog ate the information. Better not blame them, just in case).

rebecca (sarah's friend, late of AU) - I guess my lj-ID expired or I've flaked the password so I'm going to be lazy be not try to log in.

Hey! Long time no see!

Thank you! He's, um, five months. ;) And looks good in stripes. And likes to chew on parents and poodles.

(Tom says hello!)
