i made beet bread last night...

well, the bread machine made it, but i helped.

it's quite yummy.

as boy says, "it tastes like it's already been dipped in soup."

and it's very good as grilled cheese with smoked cheddar.

i was just looking at a recipe for beet bread last night! i wasn't brave though & baked one of our old standards.

if you like veggie flavored breads you've gotta try bloody mary bread, mmm... tomato-y goodness
