The CD changer contains Dido, The Killers, Albert Kuvezin, Tom Waits, and Ego Likeness.

The front room is being tidied up. Soon the ornaments will be taken off the tree and the lights will come out of the window. I'll miss seeing my wreath. Perhaps I should make several seasonal wreaths. I used to have a few.

I have seriously considered doing a small holiday tree year round. Now I could cover it with lace hearts, then easter eggs, then flowers for Beltane, and so on... If only my inner Martha had an outer manifestation!

Which Killers album? I'm curious because I really loved their debut, but haven't bought the second album because I've felt largely indifferent toward all of the songs I've heard from it.

The second album. I do like the songs which are receiving radio play, so I figured I'd buy it.

Of course, we're listening to other stuff which is exceptionally well produced. That's not to say the Killers aren't, but their stuff is poppier and mastered at a higher volume or something . . . . so, we have the volume turned up to take advantage of the full range of sound of Tom Waits, Dido, and Ego Likeness. . . . and The Killers keep jarring us. When I put them on my iPod, I'll have to lower the relative volume for the album.

If there's a trend, then I would have thought that the Dido album would have also been produced in a more pop-oriented way, too. I think that sometimes, it just depends on who does what; it's kind of random.

Somehow, I thought that you might be more into the second album Killers' stuff, moreso than the first. I'm not sure why...
