So, I finally made it to a prenatal water exercise class. It was hard work--mostly because I had to concentrate on what I was doing, but the workout wasn't that physically intense. I swam a lap after. I'm now hyper-energized.

We're listening to Tan Dun's The First Emperor, which is premiering tonight at the Met. I love having Sirius on DishTV.

Ran lots of shopping errands today. Tomorrow will be eye doctor + laundry. I need a new contact lens prescription (out of my disposables), plus there's a chance the curvature of my eyes has changed with pregnancy. Good to get things looked at. And then I can actually *see* at the pool. I wore my glasses today, which is always silly at the pool.

My poodle is cuddly.

they played some rehersal recordings and interviews of Tan Dun a week or so ago on All Things Considered. Sounded BADAASS. Esp. the rock drumming part at the beginning.

you can come on over and watch us fold laundry while we listen.

We're gonna go see it on the 13th in Glen Allen. The Met has simulcasts to theaters. Expensive, but Tom really liked seeing The Magic Flute this weekend. http://www.fathomevents.com/

Do you recommend your eye doctor?

I think I have insurance coverage, so I should check that list too.

I love my eye doctor (Stephen Vest, rents space from Walmart-but-is-not-affiliated-with-them, quiet office), but I have to switch. I called him this morning because I realized our vision plan had changed. He's not on the new plan. :( I'm looking for someone new. I've called CvilleEyeCare over on Barracks and am waiting for a return call.

It doesn't look like the Richmond ACAC offers much in the way of water classes, but they do offer a deep water cardio workout. And they offer prenatal yoga from time to time. Sign up and tell them you want prenatal water classes. :D And give me the referral bonus. :p

A health club/gym.

I imagine the url is something like http://richmond.acac.com/

Their services are much more limited than the Cville location.

Well I already belong to a gym, and this is at least 20 minutes from my house and they only have one location :(
