The front room is picked up and gorgeous. The piano, stereo, and shelves are not dusted because even wet dusting does horrid things to my asthma, but the room looks great.

The two next projects:

Decorate for the holiday(s). Tom will put up the tree and lights. With all the concern about PVC containing lead stabilizers, I'll probably skip the installation of lights and tree parts, but I'll happily hang ornaments. Our lights *do* have a teratogenic coating, so that's boy's job.

Start sorting through the junk in the office/second bedroom. I'd like to be able to access my sewing machine by the end of the week. Once I can access that *and* see that the house is in good shape, I can make a couple of maternity skirts, along with the tree skirt. I have all the fabric, I just need to get a move on. There's not exactly a ton of stuff in the office and most of what is in there can be freecycled/donated/trashed. I also need to catalog all the fabric I will never use, then find a suitable recipient. Some of it is suitable for corporate wear, which isn't so useful to me as I no longer work. Yeah. I've had some wool skirt flats since the late 90s. Eeek!

Today, though, I can't stir up any more dust. I'm going to do small, non-cluttery, crafty things.

I can already feel my limbs foreshortening.

Hahaha, the maternity skirts and tree skirt in the same sentence made me think of alternating one for the other. ;oP
