i just washed all the dishes. boy hasn't felt too well lately, but he did do a dishpan full earlier.

boy seems better. he had an acupuncture appt today, she did a major clearing and he was quite fatigued afterward. i hope he actually *sleeps* tonight.

meanwhile, i picked up some necessities: allergy medicine, garden hose, carwashing mitts, and underwear. then i picked up boy and we went grocery shopping. yum.

i washed the car when we got home. i also whacked some weeds, watered my pants, and inspected some wildflowers. after a short time, i was covered in small red spots. bugger. i hate being allergic to grass so severely i can't even walk through it. i hosed off my legs, only to spark off another reaction after wading through high grass to turn off the spigot.

my skin was much happier after my shower. boy decided to get up when i went outside (i read awhile before washing the car, had to rest up from going into town), because he just isn't a day sleeper. we watched king of texas, patrick stewart's king lear adaptation.

while settling down after the movie, boy and i listened to

xiane's radio show. he went to bed halfway through it. i'm now listening to electronica and eating cinnamon life.

yum.

tomorrow, i'm heading back to dc to pick up

rat_bastard. i'm sure he'll be tired after the long Convergence weekend. since he won't get in until 8:30pm or so, i'd like go up early and check out some exhibits at the national gallery of art.

of course, that would require getting up while AM is still in effect. i don't foresee that happening. even so, i'm kinda tired, so maybe i'll be asleep by two. i could get up by 10am or noon if i do that.
