Nerve problems (sciatica, I think) prevented me from driving any further than Richmond, KY, last night. That's okay, we found a good deal.

Today should be an easy drive home. The poodle is ready for his couch again. I'm ready for a quiet night without camping or hotel sounds.

We saw an old college roomie in St. Louis. He showed us around his place of business, then showed Tom around the family company across the street (I held onto the poodle). It was great to see Dave again.

Looks like we need to go find food for boy. Hotel breakfasts are horrid for the blood sugar issues people.

I've had coffee every day for a week-plus and we paid for a month of t-mobile hotspot access. All resting and recuperation will be done at Starbucks, either on Rivanna Ridge or The Corner. ;)
