It's been brisk and slightly chilly lately. I've been keeping an eye on the forecast, as I know we're might get rain and snow early this week.

So when I went outside today to chat with the neighbor, I expected to freeze a bit.

My bare feet weren't even cold on the sidewalk.

It's 62F out there.

And we have a winter storm watch.

Can you believe it? I'm wearing a t-shirt right now. In December.

I can't wait for the snow! I have my hot cocoa and craft projects all ready to go. Of course, I've yet to get a "snow day" off of work, but I can hope, right?

I need to get out and buy some safe-for-plants-and-dog's-feet de-icer, otherwise we will all crack our skulls on our front steps. Maybe I can do that when boy gets home from rehearsal.

It seems whenever they call for four-eight inches, we get a piddly dusting. I'm hoping we get slammed, but that's because I miss real winter weather.

It was 67 last week in Buffalo. Buffalo.

Something tells me that this winter will be rough for snowfall come late December/January. If the lake doesn't freeze fast, we'll be in trouble and measuring the snow in feet.

i woke up with a blinding headache which i assumed was a part of my cold. until i went downstairs and saw that k had the porch doors open and the temp read 65 degrees.

yesterday it sleeted a bit. today it was so warm our heat never turned on, even with the doors open. tomorrow we have snow/sleet/freezing rain in the forecast. ah, gotta love the stability of this year's weather :P

No way! They're predicting at least a half foot of snow (they always overestimate).
