A few weeks ago, some flowers came up on the east side of the house. I have no clue what they are. They were obviously planted and are perennial.

Here they are. The picture isn't perfect, but the flowers are a pale blueish white, more bluiesh around the edges of the petals. One flower to a stalk. Leaves are long and thin and come up in a clump/rosette. Flowers followed a week later. They've stayed up for a couple weeks and are just now starting to fade/die.

Any ideas?

No scent that I can smell, but it's not like I can smell much of anything outside, what with all the pollen.

I did a google image search on the name you provided and the only one which resembled it was an old botanical etching/engraving--none of the actual pictures resembled the actual petal structure. I'm not surprised--Virginia tends to hoard older cultivars. I might ask the local ag extension office if nobody knows for sure.
