Flower ID help.
Apr. 19th, 2005 12:47 amA few weeks ago, some flowers came up on the east side of the house. I have no clue what they are. They were obviously planted and are perennial.
Here they are. The picture isn't perfect, but the flowers are a pale blueish white, more bluiesh around the edges of the petals. One flower to a stalk. Leaves are long and thin and come up in a clump/rosette. Flowers followed a week later. They've stayed up for a couple weeks and are just now starting to fade/die.
Any ideas?

I'm not surprised--Virginia tends to hoard older cultivars. I might ask the local ag extension office if nobody knows for sure.
