So, I got it into my head to *accomplish* something today. I've charged the battery for the drill and I've marked level lines for the rails I want to hang in the kitchen.

I can't find my stud finder. It's the beginning of allergy season, so I can't rely on listening for the right sound by doing the knocking thing, either. I can't even find a damn compass. I'd rather drill into the studs. I'll use wall anchors if I have to, but studs are better.

If you were my little stud finder, where would you be? Those of you who are snickering can shaddup right now.

In other news, I can't find an artgum eraser, either, which I will probably need to get the pencil off the wall. I suppose I can try to find a mr. clean magic eraser, instead, but they tend to spread the graphite around more.

I should have my drafting pencil case SOMEWHERE. I wonder if my old eraser is still good . . .

My husband is home! I thought the local celtic gang kidnapped him!

If I was your studfinder, I would probably be in a box marked "tools" or somewhere around the place where y'all have stored tools. If I was *my* studfinder, I would be in a box marked "bedroom" or "clothes" or somewhere totally illogical, because I'm a shitty packer. ;)

I'm glad that the boy made it home though getting kidnapped by a celtic gang *might be kinda fun.

If I was a stud finder...I would be in a club. Yes, I am snickering and I won't stop. hehehe

I second that.

I'm a little stud-finder and I'm chilling in my room with my tools right now.

Sadly, I'm not _your_ little studfinder... and I'm not mechanical, entirely.

Hi, you made me laugh in a reply to a request I had on hip_domestics, and I wandered over to your journal, which also makes me smile. Mind if I add you to my friends list ?

I feel like such a pillock asking people this question, there should be a recognised etiquette of LJ.

Go right on ahead. I should warn you most of my friends-locked posts are full of kvetch and woe. ;)

Did you get the bloodstains up?

Drafting pencils make great roach clips and raise very little suspicion when pulled over by the local constabulary.

What about when you claim, "Uh, those pencils are my dog's." Does that raise suspicions?

More or less. I probably need to have another go at them in daylight. Or just rearrange my furniture.
