So, it's a lazy night at the Exploding Cat and Pie house and we're watching Big Joe's Polka Show on RFD-TV.

Anyhow, I comment on the venue--wondering where it is. explodingcat replies, "I don't know, but the lesbianism is rampant!"

I sputter for a bit, insisting that they're just widows or have male partners who don't dance. Then I come to my senses and acknowledge that all these ladies might be elderly Polish lesbians. I ask boy how that makes him feel.

"Lucky to be alive!"

I've been trying to convince him that polka is in his blood and that he must play polkas. He says that the polka parties look too much like family reunions.

that reminds me, i was in the library the other day browsing through the new book shelf. there i found the biggest, thickest book i've seen in a good while and it was titled simply... Pie

which of course made me giggle and think of you :)

once i'm done with my crochet books, i'm going to have to see what Pie has to offer. i never knew there could be *that* many kinds of pie.
