we are a match made in an asylum
Dec. 31st, 2003 05:12 pmWe had an amusing afternoon after I fetched the car and came home.
Boy was stomping around the house, grunting about hating server administration.
I asked what was wrong.
he looked up, raised his chin, and said quite loudly, "I'm going to deal with this by being LOUD. Now I'm going to have some WATER. Yes, And it will be LOUD. I SHALL DEAL WITH STRESS BY BEING A LOUD PERSON."
Or something to that effect. It had me in giggles. It probably has those of you who know him in giggles, too. Well, I was just ranting about something or other (oh, yes, about how he needs to be doing more of this and this because I feel that writing is his way of gathering and storing energy and that's what he's supposed to be doing). He was being noncomittal about my ranting so I told him he needed to write more or I MIGHT DIE! AND THAT I WOULD NOW BE A LOUD PERSON. HOW DOES THAT MAKE HIM FEEL?
He giggled and said, rather loudly, GREAT!
