Since it was a balmy 61F here today, I asked boy to fetch the chaise lounge from the shed so I could bundle myself up in blankets and take in the sunshine while reading like the genteel invalid I am.

I did that for awhile, til the setting sun cooled the atmosphere and drove me indoors.

While outside, my nose running stopped and I felt dramatically better. No sick. No ick.

Now I am back inside. And sick again.

So... I had feared that, on top of everything else, I'd caught boy's cold.

No. My house is contaminated with something causing allergic and MCS reactions.

Damn it all.

I don't know how many more surfaces can be washed or what can be done. I'm sitting on fresh sheets--touching virtually nothing.

Since I'm obviously not sick, though I'm feeling like crap (sore throat from sinus drainage, runny nose, chapped nose, allergy blah), I'm not worried about going out.

Tonight:
order those damn prescription sunglasses
go to Christian's for pizza
get some groceries
package up a couple packages
cut and install two new charcoal filters on the Honeywell filters
and I really should have thought to hose off the washable filter for the furnace today.
