yes!
I have rehomed the CD cabinets. The Scullys will be the new owners! (actually, Sarah will use them for her business, Capital City Studios.)
I just have to, um, drive the cabinets up there sometime... not a problem. :)
(
jaikob, the way these are constructed, they really can't be converted to anything else. they hold CDs, period.)
in other news, we chatted with Rick and Sarah via the iSight. YAY!
if anyone on my friends list has an iSight... this is an open invitation to say hello sometime. we use
explodingcat's AIM/iChat ID, for those wondering.
we bought garland/tinsel and lights and a few ornaments tonight. :) and real mistletoe. bwahahahahahaha

Date: 2003-12-12 08:12 pm (UTC)In a normal one, we could use the slats to add cd-sized shelves. And put gemstones and similar items on the shelves.
But we found a place going out of business, and we're buying a whole big bunch of their shelves anyhow. For very cheap. So we're satisfied.
Read my journal. I so happy!

Date: 2003-12-12 08:20 pm (UTC)they used to have CD cabinets which were similar. fold down shelves, open back. Very handy, very useful. They stopped making them, naturally.
Fortunately, bed, bath & beyond has some nice, wavy wire CD racks which hold 216 apiece. and they're inexpensive, which is a bonus, since we also have BB&B coupons.
