After all, why should the men and women who are fighting this damn war/reconstruction for you get any sort of recognition when that recognition might remind the public that we weren't in favor of this war, along with the rest of the world.
The President of this country disgusts me.
I realize there are a lot of reasons given for this ruling, which has been in effect, but not enforced or followed in any way since the Clinton era. I feel, however, that this ban is being enforced because of the propaganda campaign the White House is engaged in to convince the US citizenry that the administration isn't self-serving, corrupt, and full of a smeary black goo.
