so, i made this again, with the following changes:
i used 1/2 a red bell pepper instead of a green one
i used roasted vegetable broth instead of no-chicken
i added a bay leaf and about 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
i added about 1/3-1/2 cup raw cashews with the raisins and currants
i skipped the tomato paste (the broth contains tomato)
i added about 1.5-2 teaspoons of curry powder to the final dish.
my husband loves me. ;)
