i want to be melancholy. i need an all-buffy all-the-time cable channel.

the stuff on We, LMN, and lifetime just isn't cutting it. sure, i was able to watch The Cutting Edge earlier, but I need more angst, dammit.

i'm not sure *why* i'm craving the angst. it's about two weeks late (the angst, not me). maybe i did too many of those damn buffy quizzes tonight.

nothingoth, i watched Perfect Blue. if you're lucky, i'll give it back to you in a more timely manner than xiane has gotten her Edward Scissorhands. maybe i'll bring both of them by with some hangers for Chris and Stu.

The ice cream shop was closed (early, i might add) by the time we got there. i was miffed. i was really looking forward to rich, custardy goodness.

boy seems to be getting sick with some kind of head gunk.

*looks over movie collection to see if there's anything angsty*

dammit... lexx lexx lexx lexx lexx, chitty chitty bang band, ghostbusters, pacte des loups, evil dead, fishing with johm...

hrm. i do have princess bride, don't i? not angsty enough... nor is legend...

the crow is too violent for my mood... and all the tarkovsky films are angsty, but require too much thought.

need angst, dammit.

maybe i should just opt for mindless violence and humor...

Buffy DVD's are wonderful. ... and it looks like FX isn't running it weekdays at 6 ET for two episodes anymore.

i haven't figured out the schedule, but fx does run buffy daily. i watched an episode or two earlier today--maybe at 4? no, at 4, i watched highlander on Spike... but there was a buffy epi on FX and another at 5.

i think.

still, that helps me not right now. ;)

I've got some gay angst for you:

I like boy1. Boy1 doesn't like me. Boy1 finds boyfriend. I get a little jealous, and inform boy1 of that - calmly and rationally, though. Boyfriend tells me he likes me better than boy1. I turn down boyfriend, because that's shitty and he barely knows me. Boyfriend calls ME a whore, tells me lies about boy1, and...well, I imagine now he'll tell boy1 lies about me.

amc annoys me.

I have fond memories of watching lovly old movies with no commercials and it being an enjoying thing. Now when we do have access to cable, and want to watch stuff on amc, it's all edited down for commercial airing time!!!

I mean, We are going to have to rent all of the planet of the apes movies and have a marathon viewing, as the amc apes marathon was less than satisfactory.

When in doubt, that's an excellent all-around option.

My personal angst is that I have every movie listed in this post on VHS (and almost all the Buffy eps). And a dead VCR. Argh. Sunday afternoon was a sad, pathetic time for me.
