after driving around in the pounding rain trying to locate a specific window place, i gave up. i bought some bread for boy (sunflower wheat. YUM) and came home just as the rain ended. i looked through the phone book... decided it would be easier and safer to just fess up to the landlord and found out which window place he uses. there's no brand anywhere on these windows or their tracks...

*sigh*

tonight is flyering night for [livejournal.com profile] the_dawning. YAY! if it's not too horrid out, i think we'll walk downtown nd take the trolley to the corner.

i need to go hang up some tshirts.

i bought a polyester shirt at the dollar store a couple weeks ago. it smelled fragrant, as most store-bought clothing does, so i washed it with two rinses... it smelled like vinyl and rubber, as did the tights i bought at the same store. so i soaked it in dry milk and water for couple hours, then washed it again... it STILL SMELLS. i have it hanging up to dry. maybe it will air out. i don't understand the smell, either. it didn't smell like this before. i hope the smell dissipates, because it's making me sick and i REALLY LIKE THE SHIRT.

ahem.

If you're not allergic to Borax, you might want to try that for gettting rid of the nasty store smell.
