third load is in the washer for a second rinse (undies)...
first load (jeans and shorts and boy's assorted trousers) is folded and waiting to be put away. second load is in the dryer.

i bought vinegar, pseudoephedrine, more enchilada sauce (yum), colby, seitan, quorn links, and butter.

i put the dishes away. right now i'm resting, then i'll go do some more.

i've put beans on to boil, then i'll let them soak for a few hours.

i should plan dinner soon.

i'm going to call xiane and offer her a ride home from work tonight. it's very hot and humid and i know she hasn't been feeling well.

i was going to stop by, blackradish, but i ended up with just an hour to do stuff (i dropped boy off at the gym and had to pick him up again). i'm trying to stay home and do housework right now. you are more than welcome to come over--we have AC. ;) we're on elliott. Cross Monticello and keep walking down Rialto. After a few blocks, you'll come to Elliott. Cross Elliott, then turn right and walk up to 720. It's small and yellow, about halfway down the block. Ring the bell and we'll come running.

Well, I will take you up on the offer...I'm just seriously busy for someone who doesn't work...left the house around 2 or 3 and didn't get to chill until about 10. That meant that I had about 45 minutes until I got on the phone with Patrice, who I'm meeting at Higher Grounds tomorrow at 3, for a conversation that somehow lasted an hour and a half. She's one of my new friends here in town...moved here about 3 months ago and has no one except her boyfriend to talk to.

I do want to see your house and have thought often of how remiss I've been in having not brought my butt over there sooner. In other words...I must invade, hopefully with one of the other gothy goddesses we share a neighborhood with. I cannot believe I've been in town for over a month without a girl's night!
