rootofnewtjoann's is having a sale, so i grabbed ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
xiane and dropped by to see if i could snag another double-garden hook for 50% off. apparently, i was too late. they had some singles with decorative stuff on 'em, but i really want a double. i did get a nice triangular metal windchime (cowbell sound) for five dollars, a quarter-block of a bug print (scrunchies!), and some fuzzy lady bug feely boppers. went to michael's to find craft loops (MUST MAKE MORE POTHOLDERS!), but failed. no wooden spools, either. i've had a craving for spool-knitting and potholder-making lately.
came back here and showed Chris the flowers. Then took boy, went to Chris' to get her CDs, dropped her off at WNRN, and he and I went to walmart because i was desperate for craft loops and willing to deal with walmart's stench. i had to bribe boy with chicken mcnuggets, but i know that would work. he was happy. ;) we got a bendy plastic chaise lounge, which i want for stargazing. i wanted one last year, but they were gone by mid-july. only eight bucks, which isn't bad. maybe get another in the next paycheck.
got home and discovered i have a open bag, nearly full, of craft loops. oops. that's okay. i can use more. i've started a purple and blue one forxiane. I can make some for the house kitchen, if mbickers and mrjustice need some.
i need to go find my loom hook now. i've seen it lately, so that shouldn't be *too* hard.
i need to eat soon, too.
i'm really, really achy. my joints and muscles, both. i've never had this reaction to prednisone, but i've also never taken it since i developed fibro.
