i'm just waiting for the first frost...

oh, late october will probably be about the time.

and while i'm tempted, i wouldn't cut down a tree for simply making me uncomfortable. i love them too much. that, and there are simply too many trees.

There's only one species of tree I could kill with zero reservation: Cottonwood. :-)

If you pick *just* the right time of year, you can drive down 103 in Henry County, north of the NC hospital, but south of US 36 and see lots of cottonwood fluffs drifting through the air.
