neil, belly deep in snow. he has cerebellar abiotrophy, so he can't move real well. he wanted to play, though, so i let him out. a couple minutes later, i had to drag a shivering doggie out from under a camper van, as he'd decided to sit away from the snow.

a rarely seen event--neil morphs into a tree

direct hit, right on my mom's coat. i didn't wear my winter coat out in the snow. i wore mom's old coat, which can be dried much more easily.

shovelling takes a lot of energy. rest breaks are warranted. i was in for a bit of a shock to see my little brother wearing my dad's worksuit.
