went to indy again today, this time to see ismene and evilrumor. we did some shopping and had yummy middle eastern food. then we did a little more shopping and went back to alex's to torment the kitty and chitchat (and attempt to make saganaki).

the cheese was good, the kitty was tormented, and chitchat was performed.

then we drove home in the snowshower. it took two hours, as no plows were out yet and about 2" had fallen on indy by the time we left (it fell in an hour). i got stuck behind a snowplow on US 36 (i took interstates most of the way home, but my 'rents live off of 36). not only was it doing a shitty plow job, it wasn't dumping ANY of its salt or sand.

ah, well. driving wasn't that bad, really, just slow. we filled up the car and picked up some caffeine for me. when we got home, i gave the boys their presents early. neil has managed to eviscerate the plush squeaky kitty. bailey is pissed off that i gave him a toy and won't play with the hedgehog.

Glad you made it up there OK. We headed out for awhile in this stuff, and it's amazing how fast it's falling. It's interesting to listen to it hitting the sides of the house.

yeah. it took me less than an hour to get to her house and two to get home. ;) your house was 45 min or less last night. and i'm always forgetting, but ismene lives by butler's old campus, south of washington street on the east side. i don't know why i said speedway, that's someone else entirely from my hs days.

my brother's making a new long network cable so i can surf from the living room instead of the office/guest room. this is where he's stuck sleeping, as boy and i have taken over the guest room (my old room) upstairs).

I thought the hedgehog was cute. I am, however, disturbed that the black & white kitty has already been eaten.

Ah, she must live in Irvington. I used to live in that general area.

Yeah, it took us a lot longer to get back from Dan's folks than it usually does. At least it'll be a white Chirstmas :)
