rootofnewti'm out of cereal. grrrr. and i'm just awake, so i'm too tired to make some cream of wheat.
the weather is nice and cool, but i am cloakless. i should call mom and see how she's coming along on putting that new lining in. i don't want to pester her, because she's doing me a favor. and i'm hesitant to even worry her about her little girl being cold, but it's my only light-medium weight coat! i've been wearing lots of layers and my polarfleece cape, but i really need my lined wool hooded cloak of goodness.
ah, well. chances are good she'll have it done when we meet up in WV in a couple weeks.
travel arrangements ahead:
18-20 oct charleston, WV. halfway point, meeting my parents
29oct-1nov washington, DC. tom has to go to the office that week, so i'm going with him. our anniversary is the 31st--we're thinking about a big ol' brickskeller party, unless someone else has a shebang going on they'd like to invite us to. ;)
that last week i'll spend going to museums and having lunch with folks. oh, and dodging sniper bullets, it looks like. tuesday's a travel day--i'd love to watch buffy at someone's house/apt that night (or have folks over to the hotel, i guess). wednesday, thursday, he's in the rosslyn office. friday's a travel day--i'm gonna try to arrange lunch with our old boss, fil, and AU's webmaster.

ashbet or aeporia for lunch might be doable. what say you two?
