Didn't sleep well last night. Ronan's 2y molars are *finally* cutting through, so he's restless and cranky and nursing a lot. We entertained ourselves with the bus, trolley, and various stops today. We got coffee, which I drank while we watched some workers put up a new traffic light arm (and watched the police direct traffic and watched the traffic engineers play with the switches and relays). We went back to the coffee shop for a bit so I could enjoy comfy couch (vs. granite church steps) while Ronan ate his snack. Then we took the trolley downtown and visited a friend's consignment shop (yay for sweet 6yo girls who like to play with Ronan) and the Discovery Museum.
At that point, we were going to bus to Barracks or the Mall when I realized (a) I hadn't eaten all day and (b) I had no extra diapers. So we jumped off that bus and grabbed the one which goes by our house. I shoved a dish of enchiladas in the oven while Tom changed a diaper.
Tom now has class, so no rest for me. I think we're going to go to one of our earlier destinations, though by car. I keep forgetting that Halloween is this weekend and I need to make Ronan's hat. Ronan's probably going to be way too tired for this, but it's gotta get done and he does want to go out. (Nevermind, he just informed me that hats are scary. Oh, wait . . . But the mall is not, so we can go there. Apparently, only Barracks Rd Shopping Center is a non-viable option.)
