Laundry shouldn't smell like "flowers".
Aug. 7th, 2009 09:43 pmOur fabric softener cup broke a few months ago. I have to do a vinegar rinse, so some things which don't require an extra rinse (just vinegar in the main rinse) got extra rinses. Waste of water, extra wear on fibers. Not a good thing.
So I ordered it from Sears just now. About time. Shipping was almost as much as the part. Total ended up around 15 bucks once I found a 20% off promo code.
Anyhow, the weird thing is that I'm now having olfactory hallucinations of laundry stench. You know, the smell of all those toxic nasties like Tide, Downy, Dreft, Bounce, etc. Ugh. I even smelled all over to see if maybe someone had visited who used stinky stuff. Nope. Opened the doors to see if the new batch of grad students across the street is particularly toxic. Nope. Nobody out back tonight, either.
Weird.
