Sitting on the deck in the deck chairs I bought this year . . . rear in one, feet up on another. Ronan's playing in his sand table. I have an iced latte on the table. I'm watching my conditioner pellets soak up water and disintegrate--I'll mix them with more water and some cellulose later and I'll be much happier in the shower tonight.
And I've stolen Tom's laptop now that he's shipped mine back to Apple for the repairs they forgot to do last time. It's true that fixing Apple products can be a pain in the ass and an expensive pain, at that. Thing is, when I had a clone (PC? what's the word these days?), I was *always* replacing parts or cursing at the dreaded blue screen of death. Always. I mean, it was a several times a day occurence, that damn blue screen.
So while I may bitch about Apple repair, I still have a more pleasant experience than I ever did with my old machines.

We went to Washington Park pool yesterday. Zero entry. Ronan loved it. My pool pass will be worth my while this year. We'll try the new Onesty complex down at Meade later this week, maybe. Today was Greenleaf (sprayground), where the fountains were merely ON ON ON. . . as in, full blast, full pressure, soak everything within 20 yards. It was a bit intimidating. I'm glad I have quick drying shorts on today.

Okay, Ronan's done with the sand table, he wants to go play in his pool. Off we go to change into our suits and stew with dirty water and dead grass. Mmmm. Tasty.
