I'm trying to plan our meals for our vacation in a few weeks, but I can't remember what we eat when we camp and travel. I've been trying to remember what we ate on our massive landlubber squid-seeking roadtrip of 2006 . . . . and all I remember is grilled sun-dried tomato & garlic bread slathered with goat cheese.
Tom can't really remember either.
We finally figured out why. I was in my first trimester with Ronan. If I looked at my food, I couldn't eat it. So when I did eat, I was distracted by other things--the view, a walk, the dog, a book . . .
We ate lots of Tasty Bite meals. I wasn't eating much meat, so our grilled chicken breasts that we made in Indiana lasted Tom quite awhile. He frequently had sandwiches for lunch while I looked the other way.
I remember kidney bean salad. Curried spinach & onions. Bagged salad.
And while in CO, we just ate at Whole Foods every evening.
Tom often had scary cured pork with some beans.
Hrm. I need to figure out if I can buy lunchmeat (that won't kill me) in Goshen.
