I had a headache yesterday afternoon that nothing could touch. I went to bed with it and woke up with an even worse headache.
Avoiding light, downing guai and pseudoephedrine, naproxen, and hot jasmine pearl tea have all made it recede to a minor annoyance. I'd still like it to go away completely. Headaches are nasty. This wasn't a migraine, fortunately. Sometimes these headaches trigger migraines, so I'm thankful for escaping that, at least.
I know I won't start feeling better for a few days. I'm just impatient. Been sick for a week. Been nearly homebound almost as long. Not wanting to go out and contaminate others makes it hard. I could use a latté, but I'm capable of making my own, just too tired to clean the pot afterwards.
Someone on the celiac delphi forum mentioned veggie pizza. I'd completely forgotten about it. I used to make it on a near weekly basis--make a crust with crescent roll dough, spread out flat and pressed in a pan. Bake til done. Top with cream cheese (mixed with ranch dressing mix or italian dressing mix), broccoli slaw, shredded sharp cheddar cheese. Mine also had green onions and chopped black olives and tomatoes. Chill till firm.
I stopped making it years ago because I couldn't find soy-free crescent rolls in a tube and didn't want to take the time to make and roll out the dough multiple times (the dough is more like a croissant than a roll, though close to neither).
I think I'll try making it with chebe sometime soon. I'll have to find or create a safe ranch powder.
