I need something more.
Mar. 10th, 2005 10:54 pmI have not found what I seek in food. I've drowned my sorrows in pancakes, tater tots, potato kale soup, smoothies, coconut and strawberry ice cream . . . . nothing holds appeal for me. I keep searching for something that's not there, for something inexplicably missing.
And then I thought--why not learn how to yodel?
explodingcat, clearly possessed by some insanity man should never know, has encouraged me.
So, yes. I shall attempt to teach myself how to yodel. A how-to CD is on order. I'm gonna learn how to yodel. I'll stand on the back deck and let my voice travel into the little ravine beyond our fence. On weekends out in the mountains, I'll stand and gaze at the Shenandoah Valley while letting my voice travel far.
On quiet nights, I'll yodel over my kimchee. I'll yodel while boy rubs my feet. I'll yodel as I type my LJ entries.
You've all been warned.
