(no subject)

boy is making me an omelette. my in-laws just walked in the door. it's my father-in-law's birthday.

i'm tired, but that's okay. i managed to get a little burned. not sure how that happened. it's mostly faded already. i guess being out in the sun from 11-5 will do that, despite sunblock of doom. still--i wasn't expecting it. i also have sand burn on my legs from belly boarding.

i love the water. being in water is lovely because i'm in very little pain when i'm floating. it's wonderful. i tried to convince boy to let me grow gills and live in a big tub, but he's not terribly gung-ho about it.

so it goes.

need to find my suit and head on out again. maybe find a tshirt (or buy one) to protect my shoulders from another burn.

i found my tshirt earlier... it's the freebie i got from drugstore.com awhile back... large, white, with blue lettering reading Property of DUREX (picture of sad sperm) Varsity Swim Team... boy made a face, but i wore it anyway. HE was wearing his old Jane's Addiction Tshirt--red, orange, white tie-dye with black graphic and NEON GREEN lettering...

we're going out to eat soon. hopefully i'll be able to find something, though the girl who answered the phone sounded rather inexperienced. scary stuff, but i'm sure my in-laws and boy will love it. :)

i'm really tired. relaxing all day and not drowning is hard work.

the water was really cold, too. much colder than yesterday. the wind was up, though it was much hotter and more humid today than yesterday.

i should comb my hair before it dries. and maybe find some lipstick.
