for [livejournal.com profile] twilight_spirit: http://www.disrupted.org/~dawning/events.html

for Sarah/dolphie: I can't respond to your NTLworld account, because my provider won't send (that damn spammy stuff). I do have a code for you. Could you email me from a different account?
yarg.

i'm so tired and achy.

i should be outside doing something. or unpacking.

but i'm tired.

hrm. maybe i can find something i can do while sitting. maybe boy could lug some boxes of books in for me to put on the shelves.

[livejournal.com profile] red_frog, could i borrow a drill sometime this week? i'll buy one eventually, i just need to remember to do it.
Latest spam I've received include...

several of the "I have information needed to obtain funds, but my political position forbids it, I need help" variety. A couple claim God has revealed to said person that I am the person to use for this "investment". The latest starts out:
"My Name is Mr. Michael Soderback, I am a deputy senior economic adviser in the
Monitoring Committee for International Finance at the IMF (International Monetary
Fund)."

This spam really amuses me more than anything. I just pity the poor folks who might actually BELIEVE the ruse.
I'm watching worldlink. I just watched a documentary on race relations in Russia. The show that is starting now is "The Active Opposition". This episode happens to feature a beloved professor from AU--Dr. Abdul Aziz Said. I can't relate how much respect I have for this man. He's amazing.

Other panelists--Norman Soloman, Sam Keen, and Dana Priest. It's very interesting thus far. This episode is focusing on the Bush administration's media angles.
