(no subject)

i was supposed to meet twilight_spirit today at his house, one pm.

so, i went out to start the car a little after 12:15... the battery is dead, dead, dead.

i looked around.

the light switch for the overhead map light on tom's side was flipped to the on position.

grrrrr.

i've asked him SO MANY TIMES to remember to turn off his light before i turn off the car. he almost never does. and i was too consumed with pulling into the garage two nights ago to make sure he had turned it off (both lights go on when the car is turned off/doors open, so one must actually double-check the switch). he'd been reading or doing a crossword puzzle earlier.

neither of my in-laws came home for lunch, so i couldn't get a jump. ah, well. tim is coming here now and we'll go off and do his shopping from here. he might give me a jump, or i might just do it later with one of tom's parents' vehicles.

if tom can quit early today, maybe he'd like to come out with tim and me.

that would be cool.
