forgetfulness.

i felt kind of stupid last night.

as i was turning off the kitchen lights and walking into the bathroom to take my shower, i look down at the counter... right at 1.5 dilaudid tablets.

my midnight dose.

i'd opened up the container, split the tablets for my midnight and any nightly doses (i keep halves next to the bed in case i wake up in themiddleof the night + my morning dose is right by the bed), taken the later doses into the bedroom and deposited them into the custard dish, and promptly forgot to take my midnight dose.

so... by the time 2:30 am rolled around, i was over six hours past my last dose and hurting just like i should've been.

*much* better by the time my shower was over.

*sigh*


i slept 12 hours again. i suppose i need it. i've only been awake for seven hours now, but i'm feeling weary, so i might go to bed early...

or i might stay up awhile. we'll see.
