okay. so my doctor's office finally faxed my records. and i was able to make an appointment with the pain clinic.
for 29 nov.
*sigh*
the first available date was 7 nov. now, i waited two weeks to schedule my indiana trip. i finally had to take advantage of lower airfare and schedule my flight on tuesday. i'd already lost some good rates and didn't want to risk losing another. so i fly to indiana on 5 nov. i cannot rest and recuperate in time to drive 8-10 hours by the 7th.
grrrr.
shouldn't pain management clinics have better availability? i realize the doctor needs vacation, too (9-26 nov), but a "clinic" should have more than one doctor.
i'm just pissed off because i probably could've been in there THIS week if my doctor's office had faxed my records the FIRST time i asked.
grrrr.
ah, well. what's another month of electrified ice pics shooting through my soles each time my feet bear weight? i guess this is why i have a sky-high pain tolerance. it's always good to test the limits of my coping skills, my support system, and my sanity.
