scene: our kitchen.

i'm preparing a cup of coffee, explodingcat is putting a baguette in the oven. i toss a wet papertowel at the trash and miss.

k: i'll let you pick that up.
e: OH? what if i don't WANT to pick it up? maybe i want to dance on it.
k: (at the same time) unless you want to dance on it.
e: *dances on wet papertowel*
k: *stirs her coffee*
e: *throws papertowel away*
k: you know, you can throw those four tomatoes away (grape tomatoes, bad ones out of a larger bunch)
e: yay! *takes tomatoes out onto porch to throw into yard*
k: you should dance on them.
e: oh?
k: DANCE!
e: okay. let me take my socks off.
k: yay!
e: *takes socks off*
k: *watches through screen door*
e: where should i dance?
k: on the stone steps? or on the porch? perform for the cows?
e: there are no cows today.
k: dress rehearsal?
e: *tosses tomatoes onto porch deck*
k: *giggles*
e: *sings the chicken dance* *stomps on tomatoes at appropriate moments*
k: *drinks her coffee*
e: um, could i have a papertowel?
k: *already wetting a towel* no.
e: ACK!
k: *hands boy towel*
e: *grins* *wipes feet* *grabs socks*
