Jun. 17th, 2002 02:53 aminteresting british article on failure of the EPA to warn the public about the dangers of the aftermath of the collapsed WTC.
when this happened, i wondered how long it would be before the government and public health sectors acknowleged what will probably be called "WTC cough", something not unlike Multiple Chemical Sensitivity/Environmental Illness/Chemical-Injury (after all, that's what some folks will undoubtedly suffer). will it be as arduous as the fight to get gulf war syndrome recognized? i feel so horrible for folks who were told it was safe to go home, to breathe the air, to clean up the dust in their homes... :/
