rootofnewtit's been a busy life recently. well, as busy as i get.
we spent the weekend in NJ. the drive up wasn't too bad--traffic was okay northbound, though folks heading to warmer climes were sitting quite a bit. the drive home was a bit worse on monday, but we were better off than those returning from warmer beaches down south.
while in NJ, i did some shopping with boy and some shopping with his mom. i managed to find a swimsuit that isn't too long in the crotch nor too skimpy in the bust--no small feat. it's a bright blueish-purple. almost cobalt.
i did some grocery shopping while boy was at acupuncture yesterday. that was nice. i managed to get almost everything on my list. i still need some stuff, but i can get it tomorrow, after i take![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

okay, so that's going to be an all day thing. in fact, i should be in bed right now so i can get up by 9am, since i'll need to leave no later than 9:30 for richmond, pick him up, then drive to BWI (just south of baltmore), drop him off, and come back home. i need to hit a couple stores in my old neighborhood, anyhow. maybe i'll call a couple friends for dinner.
i'm still not sure how to get to his house. he gave me directions from i-95, but taking the interstate will take an extra half-hour, maybe more, since leaving earlier means i'll hit the morning traffic on SR 20. if i leave at 9:30 and take SR 6, which is very close, i can hit richmond in an hour, rather than the 1h20m i'd spend on the interstate. i don't have a richmond map, nor have i driven in richmond more than oh.... once.
ah, well. it will be an adventure. ;)
i haven't eaten today (okay, some bread and a salad several hours ago). i need a shower. *sigh*
ah, well. i should have fun tomorrow. will's always fun to chat with. and this time we won't have to scream over music.
